DETAILS
Multimode OM4
FIBRE optical is a flexible, transparent fibre made by drawing glass (silica) to a diameter slightly thicker than human hair. Optical fibres are used most often as a means to transmit light between the two ends of fibre, widely used in Fibre-optic communication, where permits transmission over longer distances and higher bandwidths (data transfer rate). Fibre are used instead of metal, less loss, in addition fibre is immune to electromagnetic interference.
Multimode OM4 (50/125um) fibre patch cord are the best choice for transmitting data over long distances. Provides sufficient Bandwidth to support 10Gigabit Ethernet up to 550 meters, 100gigabit up to 150meters
